That would annoy me somewhat. Something like that could end up in this thread, especially if done when you've taken the time/petrol to pick up the item. If it was sellers remorse via email id probably let it go depending on how miffed I was, but that's me.

Similarly but different, I had a guy once who hit the buy now on my $550 auction, only to turn up and say 'alright, I'll give you $450 for it'. I told him where to go and he produced the full $550... The cheek. Forgotten who it was now though.

Admittedly we agreed on the price around mid-Dec, which is a horrible double-edged deal. While it's nice to have struck a deal in time to give myself a pressie, it's also a potentially busy time for folks with families. I have not really dealt with too many folks around here but I'd consider myself pretty patient and understanding. I understand that for most folks who buy my gear they may be excited to receive it. I try my damnedest to get my gear to them prontisimo! Anyway, I waited until well after New Year and tried to start up the conversation again. That's pretty much weeks of agonising wait for a guitar cuddler/admirer (more than player) like me. Then boom! More money if you please...

I thought I kept the SMS conversation but the conversation seems to predate my backing up of SMS messages. It was Xmas/NY of 2017/18. I have no record of the price agreement anymore

I have not quite had it to that level of difference, and never to TM Buy Now. They're FB deals and usually it's about $20-$40 less... and, most of the time, I'm just an idiotic softy and just took the money.

Yeah my response really depends on my mood, but if someone wants to discuss the price then they should've done that before meeting up. I'm thorough with my pictures so have never really had an issue with that. And the whole "so 'x' is included right?" too. But hey, I want what I ask for haha.
