couple of questions the large Headstock this a thing we like I'm kinda like not sure if I like them or not? and the white one has gloss poly maple neck and other has a satin poly maple neck a guy at work who plays guitar says the gloss ones your hand can stick not like the satin ones....these are both nice guitars and pretty much in my price range (hopefully eh? Dave) $600 please...new can be the way to go sometimes too. That has it's advantages oh yeah and the second link one..The Standard not vintage mod, has Alnico pups and whiyte one has Ducan designed...thoughts please.

Decidedly Daza.

Mate, hang out for a mexi or japanese one secondhand on facebook or trademe, you'll pay about the same as that and have a guitar that will remain at that value, whereas the squier will be worth half that when you walk out of the shop...

I've never owned a big headstock Strat.
If it was a nice guitar though, I wouldn't care one way or the other.

Look for a used one that somebody has upgraded the hardware on, because cheap gats with expensive upgrades usually still sell for cheap.

Upgrading the parts yourself will have you spending money near enough to buy a Japanese Fender used, so does not makes financial sense to me unless you really like the guitar.

Since you ask. Buy the first one with big headstock & all, get some 220 grit sandpaper on the neck & you'll be good to go.... purple haze

I have always said I'd rather buy secondhand good quality over new poor quality as good quality lasts, makes sense eh? the mexi strats better pups than the higher end squiers??

For some reason I can’t see the original post... however, I’d strongly recommend buying the first squier, or better yet a Proaxe or Karina that you find. Report back.
