BG's thread seems to have dissapeared so I'm posting this here.

I had a tama and it was one of the nicest acoustic guitars I've ever heard, this one is a higher model so it must be even better, right? that's the logic of playing collectable guitars I guess.

Anyway I might have some money soon so I'm on the hunt for a nice acoustic.

Is there anything out there?

This guy doesn't know his guitar at all. Rosewood laminate, not mahogany. And the 'pearl' is plastic. It could be pretty nice but I'd lay a bet it's not as good as my Tama. (Which is an even higher spec model).
They are good guitars though. I'm watching this one because I'll be chuffed if he gets his price.

Hey there Frey, I’m looking at selling my Gibson J-50 (1969 - 1970) if that’s of interest to you. I have an Ibanez that will always be my number 1 and a Gibson LG0 that’s quite cool so the J-50 can go. Can send you a few images if you like, pm me.

Hey there Rob,

Not in the time I've owned it, but I purchased it second hand in the US.
But you may be very right....I had never noticed that adjustable bridge slanting the opposite way.
No signs of a pickguard being set for a lefty, but it could have been played for a while without a guard.

SO that ESP sold for a dissapointing price... won't be buying any more guitars soon. Oh well, I'll just have to bathe in the glorious tones I'm getting out of my electric stuff.

Well I might be wrong. Just snapped this up. Will get rid of the ugly flames on the fretboard.

Indeed it would--has potential a great guitar. But I can't imagine it would intonate well until that bridge is replaced (unless you are left-handed)

Yeah, that whole left hand thing has been a revelation...i'll probably take it to Rob for assessment.
I've never had any complaints about it personally but this highlights that i'm a) Not very observant and b) A bit clueless.

Maybe with a right-handed bridge, it might become your number one :-)
