NGD: on behalf of my brother
New guitar day for my brother, this may seem a little strange to post here but one of our forum members made this guitar from scratch so I thought his craftsmanship deserved an audience!
Grant (Lostinverness) did a Stella job on this and it plays and looks great.
My brother wanted a Duesenberg Starplayer TV guitar but never liked the scale length. Hence getting a custom
Built (inspired by) Duesenberg style guitar but with a Les Paul scale length.
All proper Duesenberg hardware was used, including the Domino P90 and Grand Vintage Humbucker.
I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

mad skills to build that, very cool indeed.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Stunning that one is!
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Standing
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Rockinger is a good source for duesenberg hardware. The vibratos are amazing. Noticeably batter than the equivalent Bigsby (and way easier to restring).KNNZ wrote:WOW!!! that is EPIC
