I know why I don't, I keep having to cash them up! They hold value.

Which is a shame, the last one I played was yours and despite there being an N4 in the opposite corner of the room that I desperately wanted to like more, it was my favourite guitar in the room.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

The Orange JS look the dogs bollox, I'll need to find some coin somehow.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Keep your eyes open, the older js1200's and js1000's go through TM cheaper. But the orange is the dogs balls :)

The value of the 1000s has dropped it arse out a bit. Expect to pay around $1200-1500, a bit more for the 1200s. I still wish I’d kept my original JS1000, was nicely played in and sounded awesome.
Loving it so far

Yep, totally agree. No difference but colour eh... but I love candy apple red ;) You still see the chancers on TM looking upwards of $1.5k to $2k and sometimes plus. Its a waiting game.

True, my first point of call would be one of my grail guitars, a Jackson Rhoads V....

There was a guy on the forum who was dead into Joe satriani. He was selling three of js1000 s on Facebook. All with custom paint jobs to replicate Joe's actual guitars. Were well priced and looked cool.
