Had it since... 2004? Bought from a little music shop in Surbiton to replace the one that I bought from the Rockshop in 1994 and sold in... 2002.

I was absolutely astounded to sell a guitar (which I had utterly thrashed) to fund world adventure and find in that adventure a pristine guitar exactly the same.

Same year same model. In my mind, it's the same guitar. The only difference is the one I bought in 1994 now lives at a friends house and the frets are nearly gone.

It has a mint green pickguard and functional electronics
Oddly enough the pg is original; not much of the guitar is.
I got it as an early present for my 16th birthday in 2007.

Ok here's mine

1991 Gibson Celebrity Classic (only 200 made). I bought it from what was then Musical Sounds in late 1991.

Lost the pick guard forever ago, and changed the pickups to BKP Rebel Yells (original pickups are somewhere in my storage still). I have done many many gigs with this lovely lady.

Anyone here who can beat nearly 27 years?

First guitar I ever bought and I have had it for 22 years, it's an early 90's Strat. The dings and wear are through genuine use/playing abuse. I do have traits of Molly but this is 100% something I could never part with
