I’ve got an ‘85 Japan Strat I bought in 1991. Weighs a ton and has the Kahler System II bridge thingy so a PITA to change strings, but feels like absolute home.

26 years with this strat plus. Recall getting it in highschool just before Rockquest.

Have had this Egmond since 1988. Bought at a car boot sale in Speke, Liverpool.

most of my guitars are under15yrs old ... only thing I have that is older is a neck off a Charvel model 7 (man I wish I hadn't butchered that body..but it was around the start of my modding/building thing) that I have had since 1995...still feel s great, but looks pretty shit haha

As you're a long time NZG member (and therefore well within the GC element of society) I would love to hang out and i'd be more than happy to buy you the best beer available at whatever venue would suit, but I do have to say (apologies, I know you made this and making guitars is a good thing) that is an absolute abomination of a guitar!
