Ive never bonded with a strat. They have a slinky loose feel that I cant get with. I love the bare bones/rough and ready feel of a tele. I love the presence and snap that the three saddle set up gives you with that big base plate. I like that i could defend myself with one, play a game of cricket with it and use it to put out a fire and itd still be ready ok...if not better!

Yeah, I'm being a dick. It's cold, I'm not drinking today, my fingers are sore from playing and it's too late to start anything new.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

David Gilmour hendrix,SRV or Mark Knophler on a tele?
I love tele for sure but apart from country they are a minority in the modern recorded world, which is probably why hipsters are switching to them
Tele Playing:
David Gilmour. Run Like Hell
Mark Knopfler. Walk of Life
SRV. The House is Rockin.

Hendrix, I'll give you.

and I knew you'd find examples to prove me wrong like page, clapton but you have to admit everybody on top of the pops, had a strat,
Oh bud, wait till you're hearings fucked like mine, you'll appreciate teles then. They really do cut through ;)

Strats for show, teles for a pro...

I’d need to relisten to the 1990 radio interview that I have with SRV, but pretty sure he said it was actually his Strat with a Telecaster neck on it. From memory he said it was put on temporarily while the original neck was being repaired due to it being damaged from stage lighting falling on it.
