Which one would you buy?
Hi All, I'm about to head to Japan soon and my mate has offered to sell me one of these guitars.. Which one would you pick if it was to be your guitar? Obviously i'll go try them out but just curious.
Picture 1. Fujigen Gotoh parts, ash maple body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard, compound radius (10-12) Circle fretting system $2500 new
Picture 2. Fujigen Gotoh parts, alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard, compound radius (10-12) Circle fretting system $1500 new
Picture 3. Fender Japan limited edition Strat - 9.5" radius mahogany HH setup $1000 Used
Picture 3. Fender Japan limited edition Strat 9.5" Mahogany 2x p90. $900 Used
Fender Japan you cant buy off the shelf anymore, Fijigen is like suhr but half the price and can buy off the shelf. I guess I could always buy a fender and the FGN later on?
What's everyone's thoughts?

I'm thinking the HH Strat could be fun, but it has Fender Dragster pickups I think.....which seem to get mixed reviews. Looks pretty nice though.

I'd go the p90, but good luck with any resale.

Oh thanks for that, legend. I'm probably still classed as a lurker...but will try to get more involved.

That P90s Fender Japan strat looks nice. They still make Fender Japan guitars, by the way, though they don't make that model anymore.

I don't understand your numbering system but if I were you I wouldn't bring back any FGN guitars, you'll get destroyed on resale should you ever sell it. A guy tried to sell them new on TM here and I wonder if they ever even sold a single one. Zero brand recognition.

No.2, but that’s primarily because I don’t like humbucker & single coil combinations on Strats.

I like the black one, might even buy that!
I like the 2 FGN Strats too, f-hole or not. Comments above are right about resale in NZ though, but FGN are really good guitars.

Re: Which one would you buy?
If I had to choose I wouldn't go for anything with a block inlay...just looks awful to me on a strat. So that leaves 1 and 3 and given I don't like black strats i'd go for 1..but it needs a floyd
