Help with a neck ID
Brought a partscaster and the neck was sold as a AVRI of some sort.
Seller brought it as I received it.
The tuners are not original (just some imported cheapies) and the bushings a a tad to small for the holes.
It is a good solid neck definitely not your bog standard cheapie feel
Any help greatly appreciated. It has me stumped.

Re: Help with a neck ID
Just from the heel adjust and scrawled numbers I want to say 60s reissue of sorts.

Re: Help with a neck ID
That was the direction I (prior to purchase) was and he was lead to believe.
The scrawled numbers are what had me scratching my head.
But there is zero on the back of the neck at the base?
Maybe Fulerton era?
It seems to be of quality but some things just set off alarm bells

Re: Help with a neck ID
Thought that as well
But it has some age (despite the relicing on the neck)
None of that thick coating on the head stock.
No sign of any finishing to remove MX serials.
Very similar from memory to the 62 ri's I have had in the past.
the feel of it anyway

Re: Help with a neck ID
Ok then, it’s a classic vibe with an eBay decal

Re: Help with a neck ID
The stuck on top of the lacquer fender decal is in keeping with avri models I think
