Arrived in the mail yesterday, just lovely. Will be going onto my relic'd Strat to replace the maple neck that desperately needs a refret.

Rosewood board, 6150 frets, unfinished neck at the back and gold/pearl tuners. Can't wait to stick some .011's on and start getting a solid 20yrs of playing into it - will post up some pics once it's on

On the positive side, the guys playing would be very hard to replicate accurately. Some kind of microtonal vibes going on there. Plus, he'd stand out from thousands of other good guitarists. Maybe he's on to something...

The JM neck
Yeah, tricky. Never seems to be many of them floating round on Reverb or eBay.

Just got my two Strats back. Well the JM neck is really nice, it's quite a bit thicker than the maple neck . First impressions are that it doesn't sound quite as bright or harsh as the 20yr old maple neck.

Pretty safe to say I'm a Strat guy through and through. BIG shout out to Alan Farrow, top job with the setups; I tipped him this time as it didn't seem enough for the work he did on them
