Hair metal songs these days remind you how strong the base tunes were beneath the spandex and hairspray. One of the best gigs I've been to was Def Lep from the pure enjoyment side of life.


And Duran Duran, when the whole band reformed in the late 2000s. That kicked arse. And I don't care if your dinner is back in your mouth a second time.

yeah I missed all the gigs lep and duran duran have done here....Durans gig here in 2003 was the same day as my wedding..bastards :rofl: :rofl:

I progressed from Duran Duran to hair metal. Whenever I go back to DD it reminds me that they were actually a great band who knew what they were doing, even if they ended up the equivalent of 1 Direction at their peak.

yeah I was pretty much the same although I never lost interest in DD. I often still listen to them with headphones to hear all the brilliant music going on that isn't obvious

mate noting wrong with liking them...the wedding album and astronaut are stellar. Even red carpet massacre is good. Paper Gods is a bit tough though
