Signature guitars: your top 3?..
I'm not overly into signature guitars, but looking at them from a 'collectable' viewpoint there's definitely a few that appeal. For me (in no particular order)...
• Gibson Custom 1959 Mike Bloomfield LP
• Washburn N4
• Brian May 'Red Special'
So what would be your choices if money was no option?

Good question.
Hate to admit it but I'd be keen to try the CS version of John Mayer's Strat. The black one with a shitload of paint missing.

I think Annie Clark's Musicman
Johnny Marr's Sherwood green Jaguar
and Nick Johnston's signature Schecter would be my top 3.

Johnny Marr Jag
Chris Cornell 335
and that's really about it. There's a couple that are interesting, but I wouldn't buy:
Andy Summers tele - but it's reliced (yuk) and double bound
Bono 'Irish Falcon' - looks great but not sure I would want a guitar that big
Pete Townsend Rickenbacker 1993Plus - some great features, but I prefer the Ric 360 body shape.

Sammy Hagar Washburn.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

My favourite guitarists don't have signature models
But other favourites have always been:
David Gilmour's black strat, the relic version
Steve Vai's passion and warfare swirled universe
Steve Vai's floral jem, the original one

In no particular order,
Jimi Page LP
Johny Marr Jag
I'll put down Andy Summers Tele too as I needed a Tele on this list but I'm sure there are others I'd prefer I just can't think of one right now.
What signature Teles are there?
John 5, Richie Kotzen, Andy Summers, is there a Bruce Springsteen one?

I quite like the look and sheer nuttiness of the Slipknot guys red Ibanez SEVEN with the excessive locked down kelar and reverse HS.
I like Jeff Hannermans LTD M2 or what ever it was, I almost bought one but it was an utter dog, couldn't bring myself to open the wallet.
I wouldn't mind one of Dave Mustanes Vees from the 90`s.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

There's a GE Smith tele and a Keith Richards, both really, really cool guitars.
