This Les Paul I gave my nephew has cracked head stock
Was just doing a pick up swap on my old LP Classic. Looks like a cracked head stock. Dors this ever turn out to be just the nitro cracked?

I also see some asshole guitar repair man has made his buy a whole set of after market tuner instead of just replacing the broken tulip tuner button on the original Kluson ones.

Nephew just told me it broke and he had it repaired. Must not have wanted me to know as it was me who gave him the guitar. Not so impressed with this repair job tbh.

Looked at it in good light with my glasses on. The 'crack' is actually a line of glue where it was repaired. Hopefully holds on. Damn LPs. This is a 2004 LP Classic. Putting Seymour Duncans in it to replace EMG set. Nephew is over his Zakk phase now.

Who did the repair?
I've had three repaired Gibsons. All seemed good and solid. Wood glue is amazing stuff. Honestly. How the fuck does it work?

This is good. Nobody will ever mistake it for a Chinese fake now.Aquila Rossa wrote:Was just doing a pick up swap on my old LP Classic. Looks like a cracked head stock. Dors this ever turn out to be just the nitro cracked?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I wouldn't have thought you can buy them in any less than a set of 6Aquila Rossa wrote:I also see some asshole guitar repair man has made his buy a whole set of after market tuner instead of just replacing the broken tulip tuner button on the original Kluson ones.

Funny you mention that... in the past week I realised I really miss my Epi. Been thinking about a 339. One day...Bg wrote:its a 339 isn't it? Shame about the break, I love mine, it plays really well And its the same plywood as Gibsons use!Molly wrote:

It's a good guitar. Great for the $180 it cost me. Think it'll go to one of the kids.codedog wrote:Funny you mention that... in the past week I realised I really miss my Epi.
