I love pretty much all he does, especially with his missus - but its like sometimes you hear the formula of start quiet, get louder, do the slide scrape thing as you reach the crescendo..... we're all guilty of it - and still don't think I've hit a Trucks fatigue point :) Especially with Susan, man she can wail too at times - the usual licks but she does it well :)

I really like his use of middle eastern scales as well, his style of slide playing really lends itself to that flavour :D

Anyway, back to my 3 chords.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I really like the sound of a Strat on some records. People like Blackmore, Gilmour and Rory. Jimi too. Trouble for me is I tend not to get on with 25 1/2" scale length, whether a Strat, RG, or Soloist etc. I would like to try one with a 25" PRS scale, but it would not sound the same I guess.

How does a 1/2" make that much difference?
Is there a difference in feel or in sound?
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.

Thought Bg's Gibson would covert me to becoming an LP player... but I guess after playing Strats for 20+ years it's a little harder to kick the habit.
