I use the top three a lot for lead work. But playing rhythm I use all the strings.

Strings - Been using GHS regular 10s. I had my guitars setup by audiozephyr.co.nz and he uses GHS, and I've just stuck with that.
Picks - Mainly Dunlop jazz III XL's red. I just like them. But I also use dunop tortex orange/yellow and these dunlop 88mm grippy picks for strumming and funky stuff.
Cables - Planet waves American Stage. Good quality cables, good warranty, decent price

Just tried my first set of Hybrids, 9-46 (Ernie Ball). I was previously using 10's but find I don't practice enough and struggle between extended periods of non playing.

Strings: NYXL 9-42s. Why? Was given a set and they stay bright and have a high breaking point. If it ain't broke don't fix.
Picks: 1.26mm White Derlin Clayton USA. Why? Because I buy in bulk and it has my name on them.
Cables: DiMarzio Braided Red Instrument Cables. Why? They look cool, Yngwie used them and they last forever (they haven't failed me yet after a few years)
