Just checked them out. Unlikely I will ever try them. I use Elixirs and lack of brightness is not something I suffer from!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Yep, I've used them. They're nice, feel like a regular string, but they don't rust. What's not to like? :)

Iv used Elixirs for ages, i have really acidic sweat so i rust Ernies in about half an hour. Standard elixirs last me 3 weeks or so (gigs usually 4 times in 3 weeks), those optiwebs lasted around 2 weeks, but felt like a standard string. If the feel of plain strings is what you want, then get em!

I have a pack but haven't put them on yet. I usually use nano webs and get 6 months or so out of them.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
