"Don't look at it!"
I just can't get comfortable playing Lesters but an R8/9 is the guitar I most yearn to own.
I'm so conflicted.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Faceless, that looks like a perfect R9. Could you tell us the story about how you got it please.

1) I'm sure you meant R0Slowy wrote:I just can't get comfortable playing Lesters but an R8/9 is the guitar I most yearn to own.

2) Have you tried playing it standing up until you're tired and drunk and leaning over? It's quite comfortable when the heavy guitar just hangs in space and you play it and it stays where you put it.
3) just get an SG. Or 3.

1) Not an R0. Can't abide skinny necks.JHorner wrote:1) I'm sure you meant R0Slowy wrote:I just can't get comfortable playing Lesters but an R8/9 is the guitar I most yearn to own.

2) I'm always tired, drunk and leaning over.
3) I'm a large, ham fisted oaf and SG's are so delicate.

Re: Show us your Lesters!!!
Thanks! I bought this in 2013 when I was working in Singapore. Shipped it from Ishibashi and came with classic 57's. It's quite light around 8lbs, lightest Gibson LP I have ever owned. Comfy neck and really sings. Now has a pair of Wolfetone pickups - Marshallhead neck and Timbre Wolf bridge in cream bobbins.werdna wrote:Faceless, that looks like a perfect R9. The above photos does not do much justice though. Here's an iPhone shot with the flames under the melting sun:
@Molly
I can't view the photo, mate

P90's on LP's have a different level of bite and grit, and they are mean and raunchy, I like them!

Re: Show us your Lesters!!!
go on then, I'll play.... here is my 95 Classic PP with A+++ top and stuff. I've owned it for 12 years now and though I've thought of selling a few times, I've never quite done it. This is before I fitted the calliper

Must be nice to be easily amused. I'll edit this one a couple of times so you can piss your sides.slash-ed wrote:I laughed out loud.Last edited by Molly on Sat Nov 26, 2016 1:05 pm, edited 8 times in total.
