Here's mine except the junior on the end which has moved on to another member of the forum ( and a Yamano too ).

Re: Show us your Lesters!!!
Those Classics, especially the premium and premium pluses had amazing tops, the first few production were built inside the custom shop. They have ABR TOM, with a "Les Paul Model" script rather than Les Paul Classic, which they eventually changed. A lot of sellers, well way back then, misrepresent them as CS or even Reissues, but the long tenon wouldn't lie if they pop out the neck pickups.Bg wrote:go on then, I'll play.... here is my 95 Classic PP with A+++ top and stuff. I've owned it for 12 years now and though I've thought of selling a few times, I've never quite done it. This is before I fitted the calliper
Sweet looking flames, I love how the fiddles go to quilt near the knob area.

Is that a tortoise shell? What particular Singlecut model is it? There's been a number of them and I can't keep track. Those with stoptail and TOM give Gibson a run for their money, er, they have been dong that since the singlecut was released (lawsuit and all)

The colour is orange somethin' or other. Not my favourite by any means but it's a nice guitar. It's a 245 so a smidge shorter scale length than a 'real' LP. Pickups seem unpotted which I like. Very open sounding. It's quite light too without being chambered.faceless wrote:Is that a tortoise shell? What particular Singlecut model is it? There's been a number of them and I can't keep track. Had this R9 until recently.
Confess it didn't leave any particular impression and since getting rid I haven't given it a second thought.

I saw that R9 in the Selling section a few months back, altho I like tobacco burst, I prefer it on a plaintop. R0 or G0 maybe

Your comment about the dark burst seemed to be the consensus. I was OK with it but, true enough, it wouldn't have been my first choice.
