NAGD!
Almost, because it's not here yet... it's en route and will be here next Friday.
This is my first acoustic since an SX I sold around 15 years ago. It's a Crafter Anniversary Series ML-Bubinga, which doesn't seem to be listed on the Crafter website anymore. I never heard of Crafter before, and only just discovered Music Planet stock them. All this time I have only gone to the Music Planet store down the road from my office for bits and pieces, never once looked at acoustic guitars there... or anywhere else come to think of it.
I'm super excited to have an acoustic again soon. The elaborate inlays and purfling seems to divide opinions but it looked cool to me. Anyone else got a Crafter?
PS.
Excuse me going premature all over this... hopefully I didn't make too much of a mess...

Awesome mate I was hanging out for a few months to get an acoustic so I could have something different to play instead of using the fender strat all the time and really hated playing it unplugged at night time to keep the noise levels down for the neighbours. Plus there is nothing like playing a bit of wish you were here etc to chill out to.

Re: (Almost) NAGD!
I'm definitely looking forward to playing an acoustic again, it really is a distant memory. A couple of guests from Nelson will bring it down with them on our wedding day. "Oh honey... I bought myself... umm... us(?)... a wedding present! Hope you like it!"

This is my first acoustic, to be honest I've been terrified of the things previously!

I love Crafter. My main bass is a Crafter. I don't really need or want anything else.

I know what you mean! I vividly recall my (wussy) fingers hurt like a beeatch when I tried to do bendy stuff on my steel stringed acoustic. I saw the specs for this one... Strat scale length with .012" set. Yikes! I do recall having fun strumming that thing though, lets see if it's as good as I remembered.jeremyb wrote:This is my first acoustic, to be honest I've been terrified of the things previously!

Re: NAGD!
I've got birds too... and yes, I prefer the elaborate mountains. My bigger issue is that I can't sing, I can't really keep rhythm too well... 'tis going to be a challenge!
