Show us your Stratocasters!

Given the recent success of the thread of the older brother, how about we go for a Strat fest. (And when can we get the image limit thing lifted to 200k or something more sensible?)

Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Very nice. I don't have much of a pic of mine at the moment. I've got it in pieces upgrading the wiring right now. Here's a pic I took after I put a gold Wilkinson bridge in. I want to change to all gold hardware and chuck a mint green or vintage cream pickguard on. Anyone got any lying around?

Off to a good start. Those two look very nice indeed. Here's my 2000 (I think) CS 1960 Relic. The best Strat I've had and the last guitar I'd sell (probably...). Don't know if the pictures show it but the nitro is crazed to feck. Big frets. Great dirty blues sort of tone. Kind of gritty rather than bell-like.

20 years ago when she was all shiny and new. We're still together.

A mule that was supposed to be a wall hanging but became my main gigging guitar instead. Was wearing two Texas Specials and the l'il 59 from the top picture when the thieves took her away. I often wonder if she still lives.

Cool, thanks. I'm in no rush.

Just to derail already; what's up with this bit of routing? Shitty bit of wood they decided to use?

Maybe it should be limited to Strats you actually currently own, or Molly will swamp it with strats he's owned.... or pics from the office wall ;)

:P

My current main strat squeeze...
Mahogany 2 piece body built with these hands, black nitro finish. Allparts neck, refretted last week to proper sized frets, had matchsticks on it and was well sick of them!

Currently has a twin blade humbucker in the bridge too, think its a kent armstrong. The trem is set up to chirp and it does the Jeff Beck thing extremely well, it always comes back in tune as well.

Does this still count as a Strat? Cause it's the only S-type I've touched in a month..
