Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Well I presume the threads not just limited to Fenders? As neither of my 3 count otherwise lol
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Do you mean the neck pocket side wiggles or the additional holes in the body? Both common on that vintage of Mexi Strat. Not sure what those holes are used for, either way. I guess it is Fender's way of keeping the weight down?
Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Here's my #1, a very well used '91 MIM. The neck has seen a bit of playing over the years
Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Not sure whether it counts as a Strat, but here's my distressed Vintage...
Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
That is a stunning looking Strat mate, ticks all the boxes. Damn fine case tooMolly wrote:Off to a good start. Those two look very nice indeed. Here's my 2000 (I think) CS 1960 Relic. The best Strat I've had and the last guitar I'd sell. Don't know if the pictures show it but the nitro is crazed to feck. Big frets. Great dirty blues sort of tone. Kind of gritty rather than bell-like.

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Consensus is some kind of CNC registry holes for locating the bit of wood in the machine. Or possibly some form of identification but you'd think a stamp would do the trick there.StratMatt88 wrote:
Just to derail already; what's up with this bit of routing? Shitty bit of wood they decided to use?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
