Re: Show us your Telecasters
Totally agree with you but I wanted an all-maple front to the guitar and save the funky stuff for the back.
It's got flame maple knobs on there too, and the control plate and pickup ring thing are made of padauk.

Damn, very nice. Did you make it yourself?NippleWrestler wrote:Feast your beady pig eyes.
Black limba back with a flame maple top, along with a purpleheart and spalted maple lamination in there. Neck is all maple. Wilkinson bridge, Grovers, Tusq nut, hot rail pups and concentric knobs on the wooden control plate so each pup has a vol/tone.
Loving it so far

Re: Show us your Telecasters
I ordered the bits to what I wanted, then assembled, finished, and wired it. That was my first foray into DIY guitars. After getting this one together I built my first from scratch.

Also have a '98 American Deluxe Tele, first GREAT guitar I ever owned, got it in my first year at uni.
Currently has Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups in it and is tuned to D Standard.

pretty sure I've posted these b4, just don't have any pics of the black tele by itself. Ignore all of the disgusting non-tele content
