Well I must have a rare model as mine are attached to the p guard. and the 4 Tele p guards I have all come with the wholes for the neck pickup screws.

Weird. Neither my 52 or 62 reissues had neck pickup screws in the pickguard.
Never put down to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity

All reissues don't have them. That noncaster vibe thing. Current standard models have them.

Just spent 5mins at Fender.com :lol:

Yes, as you have now noticed, the older models had the pickup screwed into the body and no holes in the pickguard. After a while, people complained that the neck pickup was too difficult to adjust compared to a strat, so the modern models come out with pickguard mounted neck pickups.

Seeing those strats
really makes me want to buy some cheap copy
and modify it just to be cool and get all the hot men

is easier because of the format it's written in
how much more appealing would it be to write lyrics in this format where every line is just one mess of words, hmmm yes
