That's 72/73 Fender strat neck on a bodged body (should have been 4 controls like Gibsons not 2 - or possibly a tounge depressor plate with 2 pots and switch) which you'd consequently wonder if it was an original Fender body. The P/u's appear OK but could even be from a starcaster.
In any case, early 70's Fenders were unanimously voted at the time by all and sundry to be 'Crappe' - were the original post CBS Fender acquisition models with decline in quality and sound. I should know as I idioticaly bought a nice shiney new one instead one of the tatty old 60's models hanging on the wall. It's not a bad guitar but still cannot really hold a candle to a nice 60's one.
