> so how many people do tone and half bends using their pinky?

I wasn't sure which fingers I use for what, so I checked out last night - I use my pinky about 80% of the time for bends and my third finger for the rest - I never bend with my middle finger and of course, since I can't use my index finger - never bend with that either.
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

I had a bit of a check last night, and I'm about 80% ring finger, and the rest spread out amongst the other 3. My ring finger bends are helped out by the 1st and 2nd helping out as well.

I use my ring finger assisted by the middle one for most bends and vibrato say 80% of the time, the rest is the index.

you mean there's a sensible point to un-reinforced bends with your pinky? :? I can't think of a single situation (other than losing your other 3 fingers) where you'd do that. A big wad of fingers'll do me :P

but do u need to do the vibrato by bending the string?
its alot easier to roll ur finger side to side, and the vibrato comes out alot faster. It does not have as great of the tone change, but feels very refined :)
