Isn't that kinda the melody to "Going to California" by led zep ? The "Spent my days with a woman unkind..." bit

You can probably get away with four notes.indiebluesbreaker wrote:i myself have nt heard those but now plan to listen to them and be (possibly) extreamly dissapointed in myself

Great song. I like the higher voice (is that a boy or a girl?) a LOT, that's a talented singer right thurr. The other voice kind of brought it down a bit for me a bit, pitching was fine but the mic seems to clip, and the actual tone is a bit nasty.
Overall though the song kicks ass.
I'd love to hear it with a full band too, KOL style.

Page & Plant stole that melody/chord sequence anyway. Some Bozo wrote:Isn't that kinda the melody to "Going to California" by led zep ? The "Spent my days with a woman unkind..." bit

I didn't like it until about 1:06. I just didn't think there was anything strong enough to carry the song until then and found it hard going.
The thicker vocal sound after 1:06 works a lot better. But it's still kind of empty, it'd be nice to have something arpeggiating and a bit swirly like the trumpet bit on this from about 2:20
