:D I've been playing it through my California Blonde with an AB pedal because the amp has two fully independent channels with separate EQ's and I've just lost several hours being totally absorbed with it

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Did you keep the original strings or go up in gauge?
The low E is 0.085 and I found online that it should be 0.095 with the other strings also thicker.

i left it as stock-i prefer lighter strings anyway as i dont have the same amount of fingers i was born with.I MAY have changed to an 8 string set at one stage though as i prefer the thinner cores for playing distorted stuff and to try it as a baritone A-A.Memory is a bit fog....

Ok, I've had a couple of months fun with this, but my double neck is better suited to the church music that I play.
There were a couple of dibs, so if you are still interested, give me a pm.

The guitar is in absolutely mint condition - no case - only the original cardboard box that it came in.

I have one myself. I got a set of La Bella VI strings which were a heavy gauge and they made a ton of difference to how it played and sounded. So much better. The stock strings are not great tbh.
I climbed on the back of a giant albatross which flew through a crack in the cloud to a place where happiness reigned all year round and music played ever so loudly
