New things day.

Dunno why I got this, perfect bone nut has no tuning issues.

Having owned a Gretsch with a massive headstock and bonkers wide string spread through the nut, I’m not sure I agree. Straight string pull is definitely better for wanging

different application.... and this is just more things for the strings to get caught up on. Maybe with locking tuners as well it could help otherwise, nah.

I can see how those would be a good idea so you could cut the nut slots all perfectly straight and the strings would feed in correctly.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
