Never put down to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity
Heres some of mine.
the bass is a ibanez fender copy and I'm goin' to replace the ceramic bar magnets with neodenium slugs which give a cleaner crisper sound.
the next ones an old jansen short scale bass neck on a half carved swamp kauri body with lipsticks and six strings and the next ones old faithful, the tele thingy from a birdeye maple strat copy neck with brazilian mahogany body with seymours,57 and 59 and a ibanez pup, soon to be filled with alnico 5 slugs,in the neck posi. Then comes the all wood Ashton which are the best buys around these days and thats followed by an art of lutherie acoustic with piezo's and home made high imp preamp and active tone controls. Then theres the old yamaha which is so stock it picks up everything with those weak weak old single coils and lastly,in this rack anyways,is the CC treasure which is something from the east in the 80's and is just chock full of south Auckland bar nights which has been outfitted with a DM PAF and a SD alan holdsworth and I wired it with so many options I can even remember whats going on half the time.

Yes indeed Mr Rog!,its not as good as it could be but it works and fills an empty space that otherwise wouldn't be used except for tall peoples heads but I'm short so I don't care. This is a better picture to see the locks and how they work.
Alnico at both ends and as little silicon in between as you can get away with.
