How old is that, Philip? You had a red one at the Killing Room, didn't you?

The red one was a new Historic Reissue. I liked it so much I bought a real one - its a 1956

I have a couple of people interested in the reissue.

SWEET! The '58 DC model is my fave, but I bet that thing has some stories to tell. Do you know any of its history?

There are no intentional grooves in the original stop tails. Just the holes underneath and any wear from years of use. The strings hold position reasonably well at full tension, just like on the saddle of an acoustic with no slots in it.

Just a precautionary question:

Do 'partners' (this term is used to allow people of all gender and sexual preference to feel comfortable with this post, yes even you TMG ;)) read the forum? We would be pretty much screwed if they did. The amount of BS that we spin on them :P

This place is like a secret clubhouse.
