I thought so too, but on closer inspection, it seems to be a bit of sunburn on his shoulders making it look like he is wearing a singlet.
That was the joke. Haha.

Here's a shot courtesy of photographer Simon Travaglia from last nights gig at Nivara Lounge in Hamilton. Had about 130 people in there which makes it sort of comfortably fullish so we were really happy about the turnout  all in all, a great night.

Quite rightfully so too. At least this was before I'd stripped off my attire...

'Twas a good evening. Some of the 130 at the back needed to shut the fuck up at times though. Your Gretsch sounds great. Was a good advertisement for the versatility of Filtertrons I thought. It was pretty dark and growly when you used it but the bloke from Looking For Alaska obviously dialled it for a more sparkly tone. Good stuff. BTW my (female) friends have a crush on your bassist. They've admired him at Subway, apparently.

My final gig with my covers band on Saturday! Sound like it's going to be a big turnout and there are rumours starting to flow around about various antics that may or may not take place. I'm looking forward to it and then maybe after celebrate a bit more than usual . . .

Yeah, the soundman Kyle and myself had a few words with some of those people. It was pretty frustrating. Not so bad for us because we were louder, but frustrating when trying to hear LFA.
Oh, cheers man, sorry I didn't get to catch up. Yeah, I was using the Gretsch with a Fuzzface which is pretty growly! Wound back the 'Cut' on the ac30 for Regan.
 Well, I can't say I'm too surprised, he's probably quite the sandwich artist too I imagine. Thanks for coming down

Played @ The 8th Hamilton Circle Jerk on Sat (waits on JB's input..).

Interesting night out really - everything from EDM to Folk to the Big Muffin Serious Band...
Basic premise is each band plays 3 songs (at least one which needs to be a cover of another Hamilton musician/band), max stage time including setup and packdown is 20 min. We mowed through two of ours plus Inchworm's 'Umbrella', total play time 7.5mins. Punk is short...
I'm the bass player in this outfit, however my guitars are still in action as the guitarist likes the Vox a little too much for my comfort...

And the Caribou. Doesn't he have any guitars of his own?

Also, where are your nerdy glasses?!
