Re: Show us your gig
Here are a few from our first gig together on Saturday night:
Had heaps of fun despite being a bit rough round the edges.
I could only stick around for a few songs by the band who followed us (The Royal Falcons) but really enjoyed what I heard- especially when the trombone kicked in.

Re: Show us your gig
Our church does a yearly free gig where we bring together cultural groups from the church and our local community to do a show that takes you around the whole world in a couple of hours. It finishes with a massive free feed, put on by locals with all kinds of rad international cuisine.
Anyway, we were a bit light on items from european nations, and I stepped in to represent Ireland.
Was tons of fun, I'm used to performing, but playing completely solo to over 500 people was nerve wracking!

Re: Show us your gig
Yup I've been at elim for about 8 years now. Will try adding a harmonica at some stage, but for now balancing, one foot on a kick pedal, one on the hi hat/tambourine contraption, plus strumming the guitar and trying intently to sing in tune.Cdog wrote:One man band! Where's the harmonica?
Do you go to Elim church then?
It's quite enough for now!

cheers, yeah what drew (badoom tish) me to it in the first place was the looks, and I just bought it on a whim.kdawg2a wrote:That LP looks awesome Drew, even if its not a Gibson.
While I was waiting for it to arrive I did some research online to find that people who have them think pretty highly of them, and I tend to agree.

Melbourne Casino. 60s Tribute Show.
I had to sit as I dislocated my shoulder a couple of weeks before. Managed to get through with strapping my arm to my body and bulk doses of Codeine.
