'Eat 'Em and Smile' 30th Anniversary Show

Post by Basket Case »

Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan and Gregg Bissonette with Ralph Saenz (aka Michael Starr of Steel Panther) on vocals.

This would be awesome to see! I wonder how DLR is taking it?

I also wonder how long it will be before EVH shoulder taps Michael Starr... He can do Roth better than Roth and could do the Sammy songs justice too.

30 years...... Oh, that's so depressing. Still recall where I was when I saw the Yankee Rose video for the first time. Thought it was the epitome of all things cool at the time. Sounds truly horrible to me now but that's just because I'm old and bald.

Thanks for the link. Took me back a bit.

I know! He can parade himself all over the TV but I can't get into a rock club in them....

That said, I am fifty.

Bought that on vinyl when it came it out, loved it.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Just checked out the video cos I've never heard of it. Wow.

The video intro reminds me of 'Been Caught Stealing' by Jane's Addiction.

Then shortly after Skyscraper. Funny how songs bring back memories. I can picture exactly where I was driving when listening to that album too. Sadly, it was St.Helens - a shit-hole Naaaaarthen town.

After giving up guitar to be a sound engineer for a few years this was the album that made me fall in love with guitar again.
