In the very broadest cosmological sense, maybe. But while I'm playing an instrument? No. :problem:

To what degree do you sing? The drummer I have in mind has a passable voice and can play at the same time. We could jam Funeralopolis with 3-part harmonies!

I think half the charm of the Wizard is that Jus wails rather than "sings"...

Sabbath sucked once they had a proper vocalist. aha.

There's been some great instrumental stoner bands, Karma to Burn, Serpent Throne...

Hurm, I might not have sold it that well, but my guy isn't that bad... I will admit it is slightly exasperating that he doesn't excel at the main thing he is there for...But this is not uncommon in my experience of drummers.

Cool! And true. But when I say I can't play and sing, I mean I lose the ability to do either if I try...

I edited that before I saw your post. I've got a friend who'd be keen, but I'm easy.

I sing in my covers band, if that helps. ;)

Oh, is there a Clapton meme? Is this a personal pet hate of BG's? :?

Really? I mean, like I say, anything post-rehab is fucking awful, but Cream? Bluesbreakers? He's not god and never was, but come on, he could play, right...right?
No the clapton thing was because a good old friend of ours, Mark Turner, used to turn up on occasion and take the piss out of clapton. So I put a word filter in that changed 'clapton' to 'mark turner'.

Claptons done some great stuff over the years. And some fucking abysmal stuff. He's best when he puts a band together - he has a knack of getting great musicians together. Mission festival with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall II was one of the best gigs I've seen. He didn't play much, he lit up when he did but I really went for trucks and bramhall and I wasn't disappointed.

And obviously ignore the eighties, but that could be said of anyone. And the seventies, but that could be said of anyone.

He's best when he revists the blues, his homage to Robert Johnson was great and the Crossroads festivals are always awesome :)

and the other word filter 'gold' one is still there, its just not been used properly. Comedy Gold.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Oh right. Well, nice to have options.

Probably no great need for vox if we're jamming - I was just amused at the thought we could actually pull a band together.

Would next weekend suit? And you sirvill? Any alternative room options or should I talk to my people?

Same here, I played guitar and sang on our album but I got a live singer for gigs. Most of my vocals phrases don't even "rhyme" with the riffs so I can't do it even if I tried to practice.

What a waste. If only you'd taken up cowbell instead.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I love me a bit of The Sword, saw them at Soundwave in 2012, early in the day so right up the front. It was mean as.

Freya's a great track, I also love Maiden, Mother And Crone and Tres Brujas. Apocryphon's good too.
