Scored the Mont'Jazz Fest97 DVD this week, "Legends".

Marcus in fine form indeed, although having Steve Gadd, Joe Sample , David Sanborn and some old guy called Clapton as your stagemates should facilatate sounding good.

well reccomended, and a bargain at $20

Youtube is fantastic for looking up your favorite musos and finding clips like that. I've been watching a few Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten clips to pass time at work lately.

Hasn't helped my funk playing at all yet tho

I've been working on his version of Amazing Grace playing the melody with Harmonics and a bassline at the same time. Bit of a party trick, but cool if you can pull it off.
