Bass Transcriptions

Post by foal30 »

I'm going to put some lines up in here that match my wallet
"Bad MotherFucker".

First up is a Herbie Hancock line that Dee-Lite liberally borrowed for their mega-hit "Groove is in the Heart".

Careless Whisper :Wham

That Phrygian scale run reminded me of

Weather Report : Birdland

Which has my second favorite Jaco lick

Which reminds me of Stanley Clarke "School Days" which older folk will remember from Radio with Pictures theme.

I use flat.io a free notation platform with my students. It’s pretty good.
It’s a free app for devices. And desktop is an option too

Hi, rainy day here so a bit of spare time:

Everyday I Have The Blues - might be a good one for Toany on the 5 Str

Beautiful Love - another good one on a 5 stg plus a couple of Lydian Dominant chords for TG and Frey to have a go on

Forever Tuesday Morning - this was in my ear for some reason, guessing its Bb major

Candy Strip Exp - getting that Lydian dominant chordal movement maybe

Come As You Are - plectrum and chorus pedal for sure

Diamonds and Pearls - we all need Prince and arpeggios
