I’m wearing a blue paisley shirt today. It has a massive collar and it is super offensive.
I feel this is relevant information.

He's also got a Rickenbacker 4000 up for sale.foal30 wrote:'72 Tele Bass on TM this week...

I alerted a friend of mine in London to it as it looks like the one he used in a couple of bands here in the 80s. He always regretted selling it. But then it's also up on Gbase in the States so not quite sure what is happening there.

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
No, Tim had a 4001. He probably still has it. I'm pretty sure this 4000 belonged to Geoff from the Mockers & the Dabs before that. I messaged him with the links (he lives in London now) and he's pretty sure it was his. Would be keen to have it back of course...

Seller withdraws both auctions after Bronze questions authenticity of seller.smallface wrote:No, Tim had a 4001. He probably still has it. Wow. I'd love to know if the 2 issues are connected or they sold elsewhere.
Fwiw the Tele would of been a refinish? Your opinion?

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
I'm really not sure. I don't think I've ever seen one in that colour before. I thought the questions that were asked were fair. An explanation was needed. The seller had put his mob number up (before that was removed) so it's possible that they will find an owner (or owners) outside of TM anyway. Was interested in the Tele bass, but then saw the Ricky and got severe GAS. If it's in NZ then it would be the bass I think it is, but if it's overseas, who knows.foal30 wrote:Seller withdraws both auctions after Bronze questions authenticity of seller.smallface wrote:No, Tim had a 4001. Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
Clear Jam influence with the Dabs
Yep I definitely would like to know what happened with those auctions. I might hit Bronze up I've got his email somewhere.
