I'm still enjoying the switch from bass to guitar, but I've hung on to my Jazz bass, and still enjoy getting it out for a jam.

Bought this new in 95 from the Dunedin RS with my 1st Student loan draw down.

Have used this bass in every bass playing gig I've ever played, and no other bass ever feels right to me.

Looked like this when it was new:

Refinished by Adrian in 2005, along with new SD quarter pounder pickups and gotoh bridge.

For anyone needing justification for loving the heavy end:

I'm loving bass, its in some ways closer to playing drums than guitar.

Got a track where I play the same shit over and over and over... but with bass it doesn't really matter, if there is groove and rhythm.

I'm partial to Precision Basses. Ric 4003s are good too.

Hard to go past a well set-up Precision Bass.
Seem to have forgotten how to post pictures so hopefully one of the kids will help

Played a couple rick basses in shops. I just couldn't get comfy with any of them. :|

 Hang onto ya hats I'm going to upload some photos
And I sent Timoes a PM for the win

Rickenbacker is an acquired taste. I hate the fucking things but they are a great design, super influential and an important 'stylistic' look.

L2 Steinberger. It's pretty good. Thinking I would string it with flats run it through the Sadowkky Pre-Amp and Dub/Reggae it out.

The Jazz basses are a '71 and a defretted '89 Long Horn (Boner) . I like gigging the '71 because it's light and I can treble it up if required in a dull room.

The V is a MTD Grendel. Ridiculously good and my #1 instrument despite paying the least $ for it.

The maple Precision is a '76 . Had Same flats on it for 12 years  . Thumb w/mute goodness.

The other Fender Precision is an active Elite from 1983 . This photo was taken before I had a sex tape leaked
