Star hotel

Post by corsair »

Anyone know it?? I cant figure out the intro part after the 2 Fm - Cm bars... I think it goes to Bb/Eb and Cm again, but what Moss is doing is beyond me...

Then there's the bit where the key changes to Gm...

Help me....

Something like this. One of the C chords I can't make my mind up if it's major or minor, don't suppose it matters since it's just a bass note.

Code: Select all

Fm Cm Fm Cm Bbm Eb
E ------------------------------------------------------------
B ---------------------------------------------------1-2------
G -----------------------------------------------3-------3----
D --3---------------------3--------------------3--------------
A 3----------3-5--6-3---3----------3-5-5^6--------------------
E -------1-4-------------------1-4----------------------------

               Db C(m?) Fm Eb Fm
E -----------------------------------------------------------------------
B ------------------6-----9p8p6-------------------------8h9-8------------
G -1-X--3^5r3p1----5--5---------------13--13p12p10----12---------10-8-10
D --------------3/6--------------------------------10--------------------
A -----------------------------------------------------------------------
E -----------------------------------------------------------------------
                let ring
  Eb
E -----------
B -----------
G 5^8r7^8r5--
D -----------
A -----------
E -----------

looked at the chords at Ultimate Guitar? http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/cold_ ... el_crd.htm

1st and only tab I've ever submitted. We looked at covering it and I spent so long working it out I had to share it with someone. The F's should be Fm's, and when the key changes it's just goes up a tone (Fm to Gm).

Too long ago to remember the lead parts, I think DC had them pretty well worked out tho.

Thanks for that, jimi; I don't tend to look at tab sites very much I'm afraid; back in the days of OLGA it was a PITA and the tabs weren't often correct so I just went back to 'wearing out the record', as it were!! That Db chord that SB has pointed up has solved a mystery or 2...

Thanks, chaps!!
