Best way to remove silver marker?

I've acquired a Schecter in matte finish has a bunch of signatures from dj's from The Rock on it - it was won by the previous owner as a prize, but they've got zero value to me. Its been done in that silver marker ink they use writing on black surfaces.

Best method of removing? And I've tried meth (spirits) but not much joy.

thinners .... just don't leave it on the surface for long. Wet a rag with it and rub

just remember this will "polish" up the matte finish as will most things you use to remove

A bit of methylated spirits on a cloth should move it without damaging the finish.

P.S. I love that signed by The Rock DJs lowers its appeal. Quick get that shit off it before someone sees you with it!

don't think that works on the "paint" based pens .... works a treat on sharpies and permanent maker though

Had to Google, do you drive a torana? Cause that's your demographic!
