Mods to Squier Classic Vibe 50's Butterscotch Telecaster
I read all the reviews on these things and figured it would make a good quality but cheap guitar......
Pleasantly surprised by these things straight outa the box, did a full setup and a set of new strings, played and sounded real nice for the money. Well that was a few years ago now and I got the mod bug...
Replaced the 3 brass saddle bridge with a 6 way for better/easier intonation, in went a neck humbucker, CTS 500K volume pot, CTS 300K tone pot with a 220K resistor for the bridge pickup, new black pot knobs, oil in paper cap and wiring.
One thing that always bugged me about tele's is that ugly headstock, so after many months of searching for what I wanted I have a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, block inlays and a Strat shaped headstock on the way (looks like the block inlay Jazzmaster neck). So when this arrives in a few weeks its fret level and crown and setup time.
P.S - can you guys tell me which image site you use to post pics here?

No. It's a pic I keep on hand for many a humorous situation.

Ah, so what you do is when viewing it in imgur you right-click on the image itself, and 'copy image address' and that's what you paste between the 'img'' and '/img' thingies. It's the img url not the imgur viewer url, that you want.
I'll let you fix the other one.
