So any way realising I had zero chance of selling it after the attack I decided to go all steve austin on it and rebuild it bigger stronger better. Seeing all the V's popping up here lately I though i'd better claim back my title of king of the V's....so now I have 4 of them for the win

Body wood is mahogany top basswood bottom pancaked body covered with black tolex (I am so over painting guitars at the moment it is so much easy just covering them hahaha). Pick ups I think are dimarzio breed set....the neck one is FANTASTIC, fat but "glassy" as well. Shaved the neck down because was a baseball bat and will most likely scallop it later as well

Is it an optical illusion or are the bridge and pups and neck mounting on the piss?

Wouldn't it have been easier to fill in the hole in the SG and sell it?

All that said, looks like a fun beater.

Yeah they are a little (not as bad as the photo looks though)..I routed for the original pick ups and when I decided to put these in found they are quite a bit wider than the stock ones so the bridge one won't go into the rout properly.....will be fixing when I take the neck off to scallop

no given it is only worth $80 - $100 and the amount of work involved (the X isn't just a cutout, the edges are shredded to hell to look "bad ass" so filling is a major job for little return....oh and I wanted another V

Is it just me, or are there a couple of extra holes in that body that don't need to be there?
