The Thread for Notable New Albums

Post by Mini Forklift »

Thought this could be a useful quick reference thread, if anyone comes across a new album (or I guess just a largely undiscovered but recent gem) please let us all know 8)

Always good to discover new artists and tap into what other guitarists are listening to. Chur MF.

the new Nick Cave album is a real beaut. I really liked the last one too.

( I just bought Thin Lizzy Life/Live Double album.. been looking for that one since I was a wee tacker)
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

If you liked PC and don't mind it getting a little heavier, then you'll like this album

The lyrics of the latest Architects album are even more poignant now in the wake of lead guitarist and main songwriter Tom Searles death :(

Heres a little tribute vid :(

Yep, first listen of this confirms it does sound great :)

Is it just me or do the vocals on this album sound really like Steve Vai is singing. I'm sure it's been there before but seems to stand out to me this time because it's more of a mellow album this time round from what I recall.

I'll be chasing down a vinyl copy of this when the vinyl comes out in NZ in a few days
