Like the question says, what's the hardest song to play on guitar?

The Killers' Mr Brightside?

I dread the first half of Mr Brightside.. especially with a low slung Les Paul.

Also here to note down potential new songs!

Get the Funk Out. I used to bluff the solo. Pissed naaaarthaners never seemed to care.

I can’t tap, so anything with that in it.

Rainmaker (iron maiden) is pretty easy to fuck up.

I’d like to learn once an orange always an orange - that sounds pretty tricky (al stewart)

I was talking to a new teacher today. She was bemoaning the lack of live music locally. Just, she said: "... crappy pub bands playing April Sun in Cuba."

LOL

Mr Brightside gives you cramps, especially the descent into the chorus, that’s a fair reach...

Yep. And I can't go from the chorus to the verse quickly.

Police, 'Message in a Bottle'
Cramps and relentless repetition. No respite and nowhere to hide. (When it's going well, it's epic!)

I have never in all my years managed to get the solo in 'Baker St' sounding proper.

And many Beatles songs make me nervous. There's a world of peril in not taking them seriously.

At least I have one advantage; I'm Slowfingers. If it requires widdle, someone else does it or it don't get done.

Yeah message in a bottle is a mission. Actually lots of Andy Summers is hard, I reckon he did it deliberately to humble cover bands.

Dick.
