Re: Survey: PLEASE RE-VOTE How many effects pedals do you own?

Doesn't someone make a 'Positive Grid' pedal? Could be just the thing. The grid is AC (alternating current), it goes pos/neg/pos/neg... 50 times a second. Maybe an AC50 would help? I bow to your vastly superior knowlege sir. Just trying to one-up your clever quip of which you have many :)

Re: Survey: PLEASE RE-VOTE How many effects pedals do you own?

Wow, people with >100 pedals, I do hope you have tried them all on at once ! Better not try that tomorrow morning, you'll cause power cuts when the national grid is overloaded... Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT

Well, an interesting chat I’ve just had with Bill, the builder of Optimus Prime. He’s been telling me for a while that he hasn’t got time to build an amp so was looking around for something that piqued his interest…we’re chatting away, he’s telling me about this amp he’s bought, then I clicked, it’...

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT

High praise indeed, keep up the good work Mike. Sorry to read about the US drama, glad you had insurance which hopefully comes good and sorts it all out Will do! Yes... I paid extra for insurance (it cost me/the purchaser over $400.00 to ship to Alaska) but am still working through it with DHL's in...

Re: Marshmallow's build thread

Recently acquired a collection of NOS parts yesterday dating back to the 70s. Enough to last me many years of amp making. From Philips resistors, Yellow mustards, Matsushita and National capacitors, terminals, fuses, solder, solder stations etc. A shop was closing down and I picked what I needed fo...

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT

Righto, an update of sorts. Have sold 3 more SRTs recently including my first to the USA (Ebay ad). Wanted this one to go like clockwork for all the reasons. I got me a DHL credit account but the freight cost is still hellish. So, built a 120VAC version, tested it for hours and freighted it to Alas...
